Georgian Art

Georgian Art

Georgian art refers to the artistic and architectural style that prevailed during the reigns of the four King Georges in Britain from 1714 to 1830.

Georgian style refers to the architectural, interior design, and decorative arts trends in Britain from 1714 to 1830, covering the first four Hanoverian kings. The artistic styles during this time were so varied that it's more accurate to talk about ‘Georgian styles’ instead of just one.
